  1. Put a CD into the microwave. Zap for 3 seconds full blast. Extrapolate - especially the CD background throughout the kitchen.

  2. Hmmm... I never put a CD in a microwave but I can guess that it puts off sparks.

Eventually, curiousity got the better of me and I put a package of popcorn in without removing the cellophane / plastic wrap. It wasn't pretty.

  3. Based on the current standardization of houshold "Microwave" cookers:

    1)Find a bigger Microwave!

    2)Find a bigger Kitchen !

3)Set to defrost Mode before baking!

4)Ask why your pizza is more hotter at some locations?

    5) Ask yourself why did the defrosting mode produce a non-uniform temperature factor, which was then exagarated during the cooking process?

6)Finally, did the defrosting mode effect the pizza, evidence being produced by the first bite !

  4. Hi Uncle,

sounds like an interesting idea. I should put that on the list with 101 fun things to do with household items.

    Hi Paul,

thanks for the advice. In this case the picture was triggered by my parents microwave. I guess instead of getting a bigger microwave, it would be sufficient to convince my brothers to clean that damned thing at least once per year (but hey, they can just wait until their sister comes for a visit...)

    Best,

    B.
