Should I mention that summer has actually just begun in Germany in the past few days? Today we had 'Angrillen' in the park and the weather was awesome (in Hamburg!).

Sounds nice! We've had more snow last night, but at least it has stopped snowing now.
We had a nice warm 23°C in Frankfurt today - about 20° more than 10 days ago...
