Comment Rules

I have comment moderation turned on. Your comment will only appear after it has been approved. If your comment does not immediately show, please do not submit it multiple times. I do not normally check comments between 7pm and 7am in whatever timezone I am currently in, so please give it at least 12 hours, longer when I'm travelling.

Comments posted as “Unknown” go straight to junk. The same goes for any other comment that is unsigned, does not respond to the post or another comment, or generally looks like spam, for example because it contains email addresses and/or links.

I hope you help maintaining a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere in my comment section by paying attention to the following guidelines:

1. Please submit only comments that are related to the topic of the post.
2. Please read the existing comments in order to avoid redundancies.
3. Please do not post links to other websites, unless these links contain relevant references. Links to news sites and journals are okay. Adding other links will likely mark your comment as spam.
4. If you want to introduce a topic different from the one posted, please consider starting a blog of your own instead.
5. This is not an open 'ask-the-expert' forum. If you have a question that is not related to the post, please ask it in a forum that can accomodate random questions.

Please note that this blog is hosted by Blogger and I am not running the software myself. If you experience technical problems, I recommend you check the Google Forums for advice first.
