For example, a ("pre-measurement") macroscopic body would be a superposition of spin axes (like, hbar each) in various directions. He had a diagram of a thing with vectors sticking out, like spines from a sea urchin. That is even weirder than e.g., being "fuzzyNeil Bateshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04564859009749481136noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22973357.post-62377451013004877162009-09-25T14:15:25.170-04:002009-09-25T14:15:25.170-04:00I hope the dog handles this painful procedure with...I hope the dog handles this painful procedure with stoicism.Giotisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22973357.post-77638731235118145272009-09-25T08:55:43.640-04:002009-09-25T08:55:43.640-04:00Hi Bee,

Also the other books seem to be interesting especially for that book from Sean Carroll, since I have red part of lecture notes on Gravitation from the arXiv.

Best KayKay zum Feldehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04233793196547147876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22973357.post-15559214526702292009-09-25T06:21:11.433-04:002009-09-25T06:21:11.433-04:00Hi Bee,

I don’t know what it is about the world, where people are more prone to believe in conspiracy and feel we are all victims of it in one way or another. My take on the world is we are mostly victims of our own stupidity and general lack of concern.
Phil Warnellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15671311338712852659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22973357.post-35050518433057380112009-09-24T15:09:45.901-04:002009-09-24T15:09:45.901-04:00Thanks, Bee, could be interesting :-)
